Weaving together elements of magical realism with specific mythologies, historical events, and topographies, the film delivers a captivating allegory on the pressing political crises of our time. Drawing on the ancient Greek myth of Nemesis (the goddess of divine retribution), the film explores themes of power and resistance to raise urgent questions about the nature of justice and accountability in the face of rising authoritarianism and inequality.

Shot on location in Greece, Nemesis, Variations of a Myth is produced by Noema Films and Debunk Films and funded by the Mondriaan Foundation. In the coming months, the film will be presented in exhibitions and film festivals throughout Europe. Stay tuned for further announcements regarding the film's release and exhibition schedule.
